Please kindly be informed that the Extraordinary General Meeting (the “EGM”) of Members of HONG KONG LEPIDOPTERISTS’ SOCIETY LIMITED (“HKLS”) to be held at 2:30pm on 17th November, 2013 will not be convened as scheduled.  At the original time and venue, a council meeting will be held.  All members are welcomed.  The official notice has been sent to the members by e-mail.  We have explained the reasons in the official notice.  Please accept our apologize for any inconvenience caused.現通知各會員原定於2013年11月17日下午2:30舉行之香港鱗翅目學會有限公司(“本會”)特別會員大會(“大會”)將無法如期舉行，取而代之，本會將於相同之時間及地點將會舉行理事會會議。歡迎任何會員參加。 有關大會無法召開的通告，已透過電子郵件發到會員手上，當中說明大會無法如期舉行的原因。 對於為會員帶來不便, 理事會謹此致歉。

We have received a copy of the “Review of Hong Kong’s Wild Animal and Plant Protection Laws” that we wish to bring to all members for discussion. A copy will be send to you via email for viewing. It is a matter of urgency. A Special Council Meeting is called on short notice on 22nd September 2013 at 3:00pm in HKLS office to discuss our plan of action. 本地證實發現一個新的弄蝶記錄– Bibasis jaina (Moore, [1866]) 橙翅傘弄蝶

The Hong Kong Lepidopterists’ Society wishes to take local butterfly nuts away from Hong Kong in search of other butterfly paradises. Kakamega Forest of Kenya is the first of this series. HKLS 希望透過尋蝶篇海外之旅，引領本地的蝶癡們飛越香港，尋找觀蝶新天地，亦藉助這一系列書籍令一些不熟識海外蝴蝶的朋友開拓視野，共同分享觀蝶之樂。 我們選擇了非洲肯尼亞的卡卡梅加森林(Kakamega Forest)作為海外之旅系列的首個目的地。     Nanling National Nature Reserve, Guangdong PRC                                                    中國廣東南嶺國家級自然保護區
