As the account audit is still in progress, the date of the AGM will be announced later once the audit is done.

The 2013-14 year has just ended.  None of the current council members plans to stay in the board.  HKLS will need at least six members to become new member of the council.  Interested members are welcomed.  If you are interested, please follow up under the related thread in the HKLS discussion forum.

Dear Members

To encourage more people to participate the EGM. I will present an oversea butterfly watching sharing session immediately following the EGM. This time, I will talk about Chiang Mai. All members are welcomed. Apart from photo and video sharing, I will provide accurate and detailed geographic information of major spots. Tips for self-driving and transportation hiring will be available. Since March and April will be the best season for butterfly watching in Chiang Mai, members should have sufficient time to plan a trip for coming March and April. The sharing will guide you to find the sea of butterflies yourselves. You may have never imagine that planning such an oversea trip can be so easy. Interested member should not miss.

為鼓勵更多會員參加EGM，緊接在EGM之後, 我將主講一節海外觀蝶分享，今次談的目的地是清邁，歡迎所有會員參加。 除照片及影片分享外，我將提供主要賞蝶地點之準確及詳細之地理資訊，並提供自駕方面的注意事項及聘用接送等交通資訊。由於三/四月是清邁賞蝶的最佳季節，各會員在講座後應有充分的時間計劃今年三/四月的旅程。此講將讓大家自己親自找出清邁蝶海。大家過去可能沒有想像過籌備海外行程是如此簡單的，有興趣的會員切勿錯過。

尋蝶篇海外之旅- 南嶺篇出版啦!

各位期待已久的南嶺篇出版啦 ! 如果會員覺得非洲肯尼亞太偏遠暫時未計劃前往尋蝶的話，本書介紹的南嶺國家級自然保護區是一個香港以外就近的理想觀蝶地點。本書會帶你去尋找香港沒有的特別品種蝴蝶，亦介紹了一條環迴自駕遊路線，包括偏遠的連州大東山及少為人知的天井山。大家齊來展開海外尋蝶之旅吧!

本書在北區花鳥蟲魚展覽有售，定價港幣120元，書展價港幣100元，會員價港幣80元。有興趣購買本書的朋友可以到北區花鳥蟲魚展香港鱗翅目學會的攤位或於展覽完結後可到李炳翀醫生醫務所購買。謝謝!

The author of “Butterflies in Hainan Island” visited Hong Kong for exchanging experiences in public exhibitions.  A small quantity of “Butterflies in Hainan Island” is available for sales to members.  Each member is entitled to purchase up to one copy only.  Interested member please submit your name and contact number to info@hkls.org for registration.  Our council member will reply on the pick up arrangement.  The dead line will be 5th January, 2014.

On the other hand, former members with membership expired may re-subscribe membership again to enjoy the member’s privileges.  The re-subscription fee is HK$150.  However, membership for 2103-2014 will be valid till April 2014.《海南島蝴蝶書》作者顧茂彬老師早前來香港與本會交流, 為本會會員親筆簽名他的著作, 只限會員購買, 價格為HK$100數量有限, 先到先得, 每位會員限購一本, 售完即止. 有興趣之會員請把姓名, 電話, 發至info@hkls.org電郵登記, 截止日期為: 2014年1月5日., 負責幹事會儘快聯繫取書方法.

另外, 未有續會之舊會員如有意續會, 可以直接付會費HK$150.00續會, 隨後可享會員優惠，唯會藉有效期至2014年4月止。
