香港首個玉帶黛眼蝶的紀錄是在1995年4月於大帽發現，此後只是偶有傳出零星的個案。2014年5月初，本會一會員在新界東北林區以照片再一次紀錄倒這難得一見的黛眼蝶。
Lethe verma was recorded in April, 1995 at Tai Mo Shan for the first time in HK. After that only occasional report of sightings. In early May this year, a photographic record of this rarely seen species was made by a HKLS member in the woodland of North West New Territories.
